Local Truck Driver / Residential & Office Moving

Hughes Relocation Services now hiring part time & full time movers and drivers!

Looking to hire qualified hard working individuals with an interest in becoming part of our professional moving team. Hughes Relocation is an award winning agent of United Van Lines and focuses on residential and commercial moving. Our drivers are the heart of our company! Work locally and be home every night or take advantage of short haul and long haul opportunities. The individual must possess a positive attitude in dealing with our customers as well as a strong work ethic to deal with the physical demands of the job.

Day to day responsibilities include:

- driving non-CDL straight trucks or CDL A B Trucks and Tractor Trailers – company provides equipment

- packing household items in boxes

- loading/unloading household good

- loading/unloading office furniture

Must be in good physical condition. Must be dependable. Must be able to work well with a team and take direction.

- CDL A OR B is required

Training will be provided as needed.

There is room to grow to make this a career! Apprenticeships for CDL A and B drivers who qualify! All employees will need to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Benefits include: Overtime after 40 hours, Full Medical and Dental, 401k and Paid Time Off.

We are a busy year-round moving company with over 100 years of history servicing the Philadelphia metro area. We specialize in commercial and household moves as well as warehousing and logistics. Our company is an agent of United Van Lines, the number one full service moving network in the country. Day to day responsibilities include:

- Moving furniture and items as a member of a crew

- Handling all items in a safe manner

- Packing and unpacking shipments

- Loading and unloading trucks at residence and the warehouse

- Working on large scale office moves as a team member

Must be in good physical condition. Must be dependable. Must be able to work well with a team and take direction.

Requirements:

- Must be able to pass a Background Check

- Must be able to lift atleast 50lbs

- Drivers License Preferred

- Warehouse experience preferred
